I suggested the challenge of doing a directory compare to show file differences.<br /><br />Ray's Blog Post:<br /><a href="http://www.coldfusionjedi.com/index.cfm/2007/12/7/Friday-Challenge--Compare-Directories">http://www.coldfusionjedi.com/index.cfm/2007/12/7/Friday-Challenge--Compare-Directories</a><br /><br />Link to my original solution:<br /><a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?6yttt3x1kdt">http://www.mediafire.com/?6yttt3x1kdt</a><br /><a href="http://snippets.dzone.com/posts/show/4864">http://snippets.dzone.com/posts/show/4864</a><br /><br />I am going to try out some of the posts listed and report if I plan to change my original solution.Brixonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00178749940583011789noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6868960925419526084.post-50508079537043556352007-11-23T11:10:00.000-08:002007-11-23T11:15:04.396-08:00FuseBox 3 LiteOn the Barney Blog, there is a new framework that I have started using. It sounds like this will make sure that the only entity that uses the object is the user since you have to click on it.<br /><br />Until you activate the object it has a border around the object. I used to ignore it as a minor display issue, but I had to fix a site that had a Flash object behind a drop-down menu and was causing people to click the menu twice to go anywhere. (First click activated the Flash object and the second click worked like normal.)<br /><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyA4AwlYcqeXigxHQGJHWHrucaqBERj692dtNFqLq3bjAIBdYZGA7-QwvIOgfEXJ-x6KGAQ9eyiyCkfjatXWHJ5gk1nM_JhwuTsNvgdCYN6FUWXkSKjyRPPBzNkp8uBIKgM5DwY6Q_YmY/s1600-h/ie_flash_problem.gif"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgyA4AwlYcqeXigxHQGJHWHrucaqBERj692dtNFqLq3bjAIBdYZGA7-QwvIOgfEXJ-x6KGAQ9eyiyCkfjatXWHJ5gk1nM_JhwuTsNvgdCYN6FUWXkSKjyRPPBzNkp8uBIKgM5DwY6Q_YmY/s320/ie_flash_problem.gif" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5036991131795073058" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Solution:</span><br />It seems there are a lot of hacks to get around this "feature". The simplest one involves using JavaScript to document.write the object into the page.<br /><br />The document write solution is listed on this <a href="http://www.adobe.com/devnet/activecontent/articles/devletter.html">Adobe Developer Article</a>.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz7xzcRHVffkG24V9rqsQdoATb2NNTsDKhAqmAFRfurW46mT58HwfwePz1LkiGFTrdHTiGvjQ0gaIhIq9A0_WrFOoCn4kRh83CvQ4nQw9Sn78iazdILCRXK3WZzKbBG4buRh6qnobucEI/s1600-h/ie_flash_solution_1.gif"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgz7xzcRHVffkG24V9rqsQdoATb2NNTsDKhAqmAFRfurW46mT58HwfwePz1LkiGFTrdHTiGvjQ0gaIhIq9A0_WrFOoCn4kRh83CvQ4nQw9Sn78iazdILCRXK3WZzKbBG4buRh6qnobucEI/s320/ie_flash_solution_1.gif" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5036991312183699506" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm7kufSS5l8ZDwKa4CdKqTZw11sQqDKNYVslUE41WqQ4yBSvUIA49t7EZiI5X9b2lO_slFo0dDme_Djnth7HkjZrPpwrvjBqB50t613Fb98CwBUl8MXTx3cYS7vmOgrzyoJkASEtd19IY/s1600-h/ie_flash_solution_2.gif"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm7kufSS5l8ZDwKa4CdKqTZw11sQqDKNYVslUE41WqQ4yBSvUIA49t7EZiI5X9b2lO_slFo0dDme_Djnth7HkjZrPpwrvjBqB50t613Fb98CwBUl8MXTx3cYS7vmOgrzyoJkASEtd19IY/s320/ie_flash_solution_2.gif" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5036991380903176258" border="0" /></a>Brixonhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00178749940583011789noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6868960925419526084.post-38965641154133264102007-01-08T05:41:00.000-08:002007-01-08T05:49:40.185-08:00Job / Salary Resources<span style="font-weight: bold;">Job Posting Aggregrators:</span><br />If you are looking to get an idea of the market, then check out these two sites.
